It's exciting to be part of an online education, you can go as fast as you want and you can write down inmediatly your thoughts instead of waiting for the "right time" to ask in a classroom, don't you think? The personal learning network is a great way to interact with experts in order to expand our horizonts about a topic.
I liked the advice I read about commenting in others post to create conversations. It seems funnier than talking face to face specially when you are a little shy like me.
I made comments on the following blogs:
Moni-K's Musings
Always Learning
iHappyBlogger
Summer 2010
Joy into Teaching
Arlete- I totally agree that by allowing learning and interaction to take place in a forum like this students (or adults) who are a little shy feel more comfortable speaking up. Imagine what would be possible in a total risk free environment- maybe technology is the key to getting there?
ResponderEliminarMs. Burelo,
ResponderEliminarI agree with you when you say that a PLN is a great way to interact with experts in order to expand our horizons about a topic. I also agree when you say that you can learn at your own rate and that you can write down immediately your thoughts. I am afraid of this last comment too as I usually get in trouble when I don't take time to think about what I am going to say or respond =}
Have you been in this situation too?
